A warm hello!
My name is Ben Nisbet, and we at TableTennisStore in New York, are creating a blog series on Table Tennis. The purpose of our blogs is to provide you with useful and insightful advice on rubber, blades, gear, balls, tables, robots, game play strategies, and skill development.
We know table tennis. We know it very well. Our store is affiliated with the Westchester Table Tennis Center, one of the leading tennis clubs in the United States. We test our products at the club, with our members, the club pro’s and coaches. And get valuable feedback and information that we can feed back to you.
A little bit about us.
TableTennisStore was founded in 2006 by Mr. Varghese Pallathu. The company was born in Utah and moved to Texas. TableTennisStore , since 2011, is owned and run by Ben and Remy Nisbet. We are a New York State business. We hire high school and college students, and give back to our sport via a charity we co-founded called American Youth Table Tennis.
Remy Nisbet. Remy is Senior Director of Technology – E Commerce for David Yurman, In New York City. Remy grew up in the Philippines.
Ben Nisbet. I am a lifetime player, ITTF certified coach and owner operator of tabletennisstore. I grew up in the Boston Area. My background is in business and finance, but I also served as USA Table Tennis Executive Director for two years. I played competitively as a junior and in college. And still actively play and occasionally compete today.
