Can I choose the color of the tape?
Yes! We use red and black, but we also offer white, green, and blue. Please include any additional information, including a different edge tape color, in the order notes.
Is this service available for pre-owned blades?
Yes, but you will need to use our racket resurfacing program selection as well. We recommend cleaning your blade thoroughly before sending it to us.
Does this service keep the racket legal for tournament play?
No, not when you fold tape over the edge; it is not eligible for tournament play. This video is for recreational or institutional (school) use, where shortened racket useful life is an important factor.
If you are planning on using your paddle for tournament play:
- First, check to see there is ITTF-approved rubber on the playing surface;
- Second, one side of the racket surface is black, the other side another color;

Can I do triple layers?
Possible, but it offers diminishing returns and adds weight—double is the sweet spot.
