Holiday Shipping Schedule and Information For December 2024


Our office is closed Saturday, December 24th through Monday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday. We will reopen on Thursday, December 26th at 8:30 AM EST. Please see our shipping schedule below for the last day & time to place an order to receive in time for the Christmas. Please keep in mind that we have no control over shipping carrier delays.

Schedule for Small Parcels orders (all orders without a table tennis table) need to be received by:


USPS Ground Advantage / UPS Ground – December 18th by Noon EST
Priority Mai and 2nd Day Air – December 20st by 3:00 PM EST
Overnight / Next Day Air – December 22nd by 3:00 PM EST

If you live on the East Coast of USA within 250 miles of New York City, we may be able to get packages to you within two days. Contact us via email or text.

Schedule for Table Orders - All orders need to be received prior to December 14th by 3:00 PM EST

If we are beyond this cutoff time and you are still intersted in a table tennis table before the 25th, please contact us. We know where table tennis tables are warehoused and have the ability to arrange for transport. Contact us vie email or text.

 

 

 

We use USPS and UPS for shipment.  Here are the USPS postal holidays for 2024.  

New Year's Day: Monday, Jan. 1.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Presidents Day: Monday, Feb. 19.

Memorial Day: Monday, May 27.

Juneteenth National Independence Day: Wednesday, June 19.

Independence Day: Thursday, July 4.

Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 2.

Columbus Day: Monday, Oct. 14.

In most cases, we are open or partially open these days to answer phone calls and prepare shipments.   If you are looking for a package to arrive quickly, at or near one of these holiday periods, we recommend that you call or text us to get an expected ETA.

Lost Packages 

If your package is lost:

  • Contact us immediately so we can begin a search with the carrier to determine if the items were misdelivered. Please note that USPS and UPS use geolocators to assess the exact drop-off location. We will also give you the package color and type to assist.
  • If your package was stated as delivered by USPS but is not in your possession, we recommend visiting your local post office. They can be very resourceful in helping to recover your package. Simply provide them with the tracking number and any other relevant information, and they will assist you in initiating a search for your package.Allow a few days for the carrier to respond.   
  • Check your house or area where the package was delivered to see if it was misplaced.  

If your package still needs to be recovered and there is no signature, we will require the following before we can issue you a replacement or refund.

  • Please give us the number of the local police department or precinct.
  • We will contact them and obtain a police report of a lost package / stolen property. We will fill it out and email it to you for your signature. Email it back to us, and we will file the report with the local police department.   
  • Once the above is completed, we will refund the lost / or stolen property. 

We go through the above process to ensure that every possibility for recovery of the package is attempted, including notifying the USPS and sometimes the local police department. We are also a small business, and lost stolen packages are very costly for us; so we make every effort to recover it.

Frequently Asked Questions on Shipping

 

1. What is my expected shipping charge?

 

  • TableTennisStore.US offers free shipping on orders over $50 as long as you are in the continental United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. For orders under $50, your cost will be a flat $5 for first-class mail and a flat $8 for priority mail. We use the United States Postal Service on all our orders unless otherwise notified.
  • Certain weight-based items, such as tables, robots, furniture items, large bags, and surrounds, may have a subsidized shipping surcharge because of the high shipping surcharges incurred. In these instances, we notify you in the product description that free shipping may not be available.
  • Please understand that it is our goal to offer free shipping on all products. Where that is not possible, we absorb as much of the shipping charge as feasible.

2. When will my package get shipped?

  • We strive to ship your order on the same day. However, there are often instances where the shipment of your order could take longer. For example, it can take up to 36 hours for table tennis tables to get the necessary paperwork to the warehouse and transportation company for pick up, or custom-made rackets, which take time to prepare and dry.

Shipping Times

 

We seek to your package the same day the order was placed. However, the shipping can be delayed based on the inventory and the workload we have. We strive to send you an email as quickly as possible regarding any delay.

 

Shipping USA

 

USPS First Class: Shipping times are generally 3-7 days.

 

USPS Priority: $8 Charge. Priority rates may be higher depending on the weight. Shipping times are generally 1-3 days.  

 

USPS Priority Mail Express: $24. Express rates may be higher depending on the weight. Shipping times are generally 1-3 days. If you need your package "next day," please email or text us so that we can accommodate you.

 

UPS Ground:  We now offer UPS Ground shipments. Shipping time is 1-7 days.

 

UPS 3-day Select; Second Day Air, Overnight. Contact us by text or email for rates. Rates vary depending on weight.

 

International Shipping:

 

We are now using Shopify Markets Pro for International Shipping. Markets Pro is a comprehensive solution that addresses the intricacies of cross-border selling. It ensures compliance with local regulations, handles taxes and duties, and streamlines international shipping. This means you can order items from our store in your local currency and be confident that your package will arrive at your address quickly and efficiently.

 

For international shipping we are currently using tiered flat rate weight pricing to calculate your shipping costs. Lighter-weight items, like rubber top sheets, will cost less to ship. If your shipping rate is high than you would like, we recommend adjusting the quantities and items in your shopping cart.

 

Canada

 

If shipping costs to Canada are still too expensive, we recommend you reconfigure your quantities and product selection in your shopping cart. Reducing the number of heavier items or selecting lighter-weight items can help you get a better rate.
