Tibhar Company was founded 1969 by the international famous table tennis coach and former world-class table tennis player, Tibor Harangozo. He gave his name to the Company: TIBor HARangozo. After his death 1978, the company name did not change and is nowadays synonym to high quality table tennis products throughout the world.
Tibhar's history started even before its own foundation thanks to the international table tennis courses conducted by Tibor Harangozo in the School for sports in Saarbruecken which started 1959. The fame of the international table tennis school Tibhar grew from year to year, which resulted in a demand from the players and hobbyist for equipment. Therefore a solution had to be found.
