From June 28 to July 4, 2025, the Ontario Convention Center in Southern California hosted the 49th edition of the U.S. National Table Tennis Championships. This expansive venue offered top-tier facilities, including multiple competition tables, ample spectator seating, and professional broadcast setups, creating a vibrant and high-energy environment for both players and fans.
Unlike other professional sports, at the Table Tennis National Championships, anyone who is a USA citizen can play, regardless of age or ability. All you need to do is provide evidence of citizenship, register on time, typically 45 days before the championship, pay the USA Table Tennis membership fee and event entries, and possess an International Federated Approved Tournament racket, or hundeds of thousands of other racket combinations which we could make for you at TableTennisStore.
What sets Table Tennis and its Nationals apart is the player ranking system managed by the event operator and National Governing Body, USA Table Tennis. This system, similar to the Chess Rating System, allows for multiple skill-based events within the National Championships, providing unique opportunities for players of all levels.
So if you are not a pro, there still many opportunities to gain a national title!
Pathway to Team Selection: Perform well to qualify for the U.S. National, Cadet, and Junior teams, and you may have the opportunity to become a Table Tennis Olympian.
