Dr. Neubauer Explosion Extreme - Short Pip Table Tennis Rubber is the latest addition to the popular Explosion short pips series. This new version still provides a very good compromise between control, attacking possibilities, and disruptive effect.

Explosion Extreme is decisively faster than Explosion, thanks to a new innovative sponge that enables one to get more speed into the ball while counter-attacking and hitting. Moreover, the disruptive effect was further enhanced while blocking and striking, resulting in an even lower bounce and noticeably more mistakes by your opponent.

Control is still on a high level, ensuring that all classic short pips techniques can be performed easily.

Note that the best compromise between control and disruptive effect is obtained with a thinner sponge (1.3/1.5/1.8 mm). The thicker sponge versions make the rubber faster, but with a bit less disruptive effect.

The rubber comes with a layer of glue. Please put a thin layer of water-based table tennis glue onto the sponge and a normal layer of water-based glue on the blade. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes, and apply it to the blade.
